whole30: day 9
Day 9 was the day I had coffee. I have been struggling with some extreme fatigue lately, and the last couple weeks on my days off I have taken excessive naps (I've always been a good napper, but these have been extreme). Today I woke up on my own at 5:30, got out of bed around 6, had some breakfast, and by 8:15 I could barely keep my eyes open...so I took a nap. When I woke up and could barely peel myself off the couch, I decided I was having coffee. Conveniently I had made my own almond milk this morning while I was cooking my breakfast, so I had Whole30 approved coffee. I'm not sure it helped, but it was worth a shot (ha! no pun intended).
No-atmeal...looks unappealing but tastes delicious!
Leftover spaghetti squash bolognese
She knows it too, and when we come home she is pretty good about going into her kennel to dry off (with gentle leading and some huffing and puffing and sad/crazy eyes).
We braved the rain and the bear sightings in our neighborhood and surrounding area (mama black bear with two cubs) and managed an evening run. We did recruit a friend to come along for extra noise and safety...and he even brought bear spray!
