I have over 9 years of clinical experience helping athletes overcome their chronic and autoimmune illnesses! I am an endurance athlete and a chronic fatigue survivor. Helping people to better understand what is happening inside their bodies and how to work with their body instead of against it to maximize healing is what I love doing!

This is what I call my 2 minute face. Beautycounter volumizing mascara, Beautycounter lip sheer in rose, Beautycounter dew skin tinted moisturizer, and eyeliner (not Beautycounter).

When you work from home, sometimes you've just got to out on a little makeup to run errands. It also helps that I'm kind of obsessed with Beautycounter. I look forward to washing my face and putting on mascara every day 🤷🏼‍♀️.

The return of the giant salad! This is how I make sure that I get my 9 servings of veggies every day. This salad has at least 2 servings and really probably closer to 3 (I didn't actually measure).

Vegetables are so important in your overall health, but they are especially important if you have any sort of chronic or autoimmune health condition. Eating plenty of veggies ensures that you are getting plenty of micronutrients which are important in both health and the healing process.
.
If your body doesn't have the pieces it needs to carry out all of the essential processes within it, then things start to break down and don't run properly. This is when disease occurs. It doesn't help that most Americans have quite a few micronutrient deficiencies to begin with. #eatyourveggies !!!

To say that these things have just changed my skin would be an understatement. They've changed my life. That might sound a little extreme for skincare, but it's the truth.

1. They have changed my skin. For the better. I have had acne prone skin my whole life. I always figured by my 30s it would be a distant memory. But not so much. I've tried a lot of products and these are the only ones that significantly and consistently have reduced the number of breakouts I get.
2. Having better skin consistently gives me more confidence. Sure we can all pretend that we don't care how we look, and while that might be true for some, I do care to a certain extent (no matter how hard I try not to).
3. It's connected me to an incredible group of women who all have a common interest - health for ourselves and our family. I've never met these women in real life (someday I'll meet them all though!) but I feel incredibly connected to them because we all share a common goal and a passion for spreading that message of health.
