Last week I taught myself how to crochet.  I found a pattern of something that I wanted to make as a Christmas gift which was crocheted - so I figured what the heck, it can't be much harder than knitting...right?  Turns out it might actually be easier than knitting (definitely not at first though).  Don't worry, I'm not a total convert, but I am glad to have both skills in my toolbox. So of course I can't just make the one crocheted thing (I'm being vague on purpose regarding said crocheted item) - I had to go and come up with 1,000 other ideas. Last night I worked on these necklaces.

I have a few things to work out before I actually DO anything with them, but I will probably (attempt to) sell them.

I'm not a huge fan of the "chain" part.  I think I need some yarn that is a little heavier so it hangs better.  I had fun making the flowers though!
