34 more days until John and I head off on our European adventure! I seriously can't believe that it's already September. When we first started planning this trip, it seems so far away. Now it's just over a month away.I feel like I have a ton of stuff to do before we go and if September is anything like August, it will be over before I know it. I made a to-do list for our trip, mostly because I keep thinking of more things that one of us needs to do, and then forgetting to mention them to John. I realized that I had already done one thing after I took this photo, so I got to cross something off!! I'm so NOT a to-do list person, except for lately. I have been sleeping less on my first day off after working (so I've been staying up for almost 24 hours...I don't really recommend it) in order to get stuff done and see my friends/family. This results in me forgetting A LOT of stuff. Or, I will remember something I need to do, and then 20 minutes later I will remember that I remembered something, but not be able to remember what it was. Enter the to-do list. I know that people have been using them for a long time, but I have only recently discovered their usefulness. I don't know that it's increased my ability to get things done, but it certainly has decreased the things I simply forget about doing (whether or not I choose to do them is another story).
