We had BBQ Bean Tacos again this week, and they were better than last time. I meant to use lentils as I said in my recipe, but then I remembered that I had a bag of sprouted bean mix from Costco in the pantry and I thought I'd give that a try in this dish (I wasn't a fan of the mix so it has been sitting in our pantry waiting for the perfect use).

Yesterday I went on a tempo run. It was hot, so my whole workout only lasted 30 minutes, but I got a solid 20 minutes of tempoing in. I forgot to hit the lap button on my watch, so this doesn't accurately reflect my workout. I started around mile 0.5 and ended at 2.56.
I took today off because my hip has been hurting. I think it's actually my back but I feel it in my hip and my butt. Lots of icing and adviling going on around here (along with Olympics watching...I figure I can at least pick up fast running vibes from the fast runners on tv, right?).
