April Mantras

Is anyone else a little confused as to how 25% of 2018 is already gone? January was the. longest. month. ever. And then February and March completely flew by. Part of the reason March disappeared was because I spent two weeks on the Big Island of Hawaii...which was amazing, but it was like sand and palm tree filled time vortex.

In December I started setting monthly intentions, which was a really great answer to my overall inability to set goals because it gave me some direction for my month without feeling restrictive the way goal setting does for me (I'm a rebel personality so I resist structure and rules SO HARD).

In January I started a meditation practice, which was something I had been resisting for a while because I just didn't think it was something I needed, but then once I started I realized that I should have done it a long time ago.

Something that goes along with meditation and intention setting is mantras. I know this all sounds super cheesy and woo woo (which it is a little bit), but one of the things that I've learned in running my own business is that mindset really IS everything. So each month I like to also have a few mantras that I use to remind myself of what I'm focusing on.

Since I'm not good at keeping my mind from wandering while I meditate, I tend to use a mantra or two during that time while also focusing on my breathing.

April Mantras

I release all things that do not serve me.

Breathe in, breathe out, move on.

I always have enough: enough love, enough money, enough energy, enough time.

I respect my fears but I do not give into them and thus they are powerless and meaningless.
